School Grounds Day Thursday 23rd March
Our Spring School Grounds Morning is now going to be a full day in order that we can begin to create our new Forest School area in memory of Paul Andrews.
We will be staggering the time the year groups are outside. The time slots for each year group are:
Reception - 9.15-10.30am
Year 1 – 10.45 – 12pm
Year 2 – 13:15 – 14:45pm
We are grateful to those parents/carers who have already signed up and hope these time slots are convenient for you if you want to work with your child. If you have not signed up and are available to help you can do so by completing the form on Weduc.
If you are interested in helping for longer or can help us with more heavy duty tasks such as digging holes and dismantling benches then you are more than welcome to stay outside your child’s time slot.
We have very limited tools, so we would appreciate it if you could bring in your own tools to use on the day. We are specifically looking for saws, a hedge trimmer, gloves, spades, forks, trowels, secateurs, hammers and wheel barrows.
We would also like to ask for any donations of seeds/bulbs/sensory plants e.g herbs for the big day. Please bring these in from Monday the 20th of March to the school office.
Please remember that School Grounds Day is a non-uniform day. Please can all children therefore come to school in clothes suitable for gardening.
